We foster your little one’s sensitivity, emotions and spontaneity through interesting and enjoyable musical activities.
Young children develop by absorbing things through “playing”.
The course contents include not only educational sound material (audio files) but also singing, playing with rhythm, and appreciation of live music played by teachers. Exposure to a variety of authentic musical experiences in the fun way cultivates children’s sensitivity and emotions and enhances mental development.
Where imagination meets melody
The age of 3 is the ideal age for children to start learning the essential skills to develop into confident and skilled musicians. In Yamaha’s New Primary Course, they learn a wide variety of skills through classical music and other music genres and experience over 140 pieces of music during the three-year course.
Growing musicianship, one joyful step at a time
Children join Primary 2 at the age of 4 or 5, and embark on an exciting musical journey where their listening, singing, playing, reading, writing, and creating skills are developed in a fun and nurturing environment. In addition to the unique musical experiences that only group lessons can offer, such as performing in front of peers or participating in ensemble, children further refine their individuality and musical abilities through detailed performance instruction in individual lessons.
(Supplementary individual lessons are optional.)
Where music becomes expression
Between the ages of 6-8 years old, children’s motor skills develop rapidly. The Young Musicians Course develops comprehensive musicianship with an emphasis on keyboard performance. During the three-year program, students participate in activities that teach basic musical skills and encourage independence, creativity and self-expression. The course appeals to the imagination of a young mind and becomes an integral part of your child’s growth.
